Dennis “DJ” Doran is running for Mayor of Chicago. Currently serving as the President and CEO of Doran Omnimedia and Aequalitas Media, one of the fastest-growing LGBTQ+ media agencies in the United States, Doran is an entrepreneur and has led multiple successful companies across various industries over the span of his 35-year business career. Doran is a pilot and a United States Air Force veteran and hopes to bring his strong leadership skills and collaborative style to unite the city and change Chicago for the better.

“My husband and I have lived in Chicago for more than 13 years and have grown to love this city.” “Although we still enjoy all of the things that make Chicago great, this city has lost some of its luster in recent years. So instead of just complaining about the rise in violent crime and the cost of living – and the exodus of people fleeing the city as a result – I decided to do something about it.

“We can’t keep electing politicians who forget the promises they made as soon as they get in office. We’ve had enough of divisive rhetoric and showboating politicians, who put their own interests ahead of the people’s. I’m running for Mayor to bring strong, fair, and decisive leadership to City Hall and unite people all over the city around a shared vision of a safe and prosperous Chicago.”
